Your Account

Account Names
Your email address is your account name, because it's already unique and won't conflict with others and will make it easy to remember when logging in. Your email address will also be used for notifications and group communications.

Creating an Account
You can create a new account with just an email address and a password. Accounts aren't "issued"; you create them yourself. It works just like many web sites that ask you to create an account and a password. Once you fill out the fields in the Create Account dialog and click on the "Create" button, you are automatically logged in as well.

Identifying the Server
myweb.bnin.net Instant Publisher relies on a central server to connect team members. Do not change the server that is populated in the Settings: Network dialog unless instructed by a Technical Support person.

Being Invited
If someone sends you an invitation from Instant Publisher, an account is created for you based on the email address your colleague entered into the invitation, and you are added to your colleague's group or page at the time you're invited. If you have multiple email addresses, double-check the email message that was your invitation; that's the address your colleague used to invite you. Use this email when you first "create" your account or log in; you can change it later.

The Settings Dialog in Instant Publisher

We create the account for you when you're first invited, and although you see the "Create Account" dialog when you run Instant Publisher for the first time, we will match up your account info with the auto-created account and establish your new password, but will not create a duplicate account.

Changing Your Account Info
You can change all of the information in your account with the Settings dialog within Instant Publisher. You can even change your account name/email address, and you'll still be in all the same groups and everything will continue to work. New invitations, however, will need to use your new account name in order to find you in the network.

If you change your password, an email will be sent to your address to make sure that it was really you who changed it.

Deleting Your Account
There is currently no way to delete your account from within Instant Publisher. If you'd like to remove your account from our system, please contact us and include the email address to delete.
